This will depend on which filter you choose and that will be dependent on your purpose for the filter so make sure you choose wisely. Our ACF filter is designed for more day to day use (normal drinking water situations), it is much easier to sift the water through the filter element (straw).
Our Ahsltrom filter, is a much more effective water filter due to the design, however it is a slightly harder filter to sift the water through, again, this is because it is designed for cleaning the toughest of water sources so we recommend this filter only if you are outdoors and/ are getting water from un trusted water source.
We would recommend the ACF filter for indoor, tap water, public water sources, basically areas that have treated water sources already, and the Ahlstrom filter we recommend to use only on un treated/ outdoor water sources however it is entirely at your discretion, if you are ever unsure your best bet is to get one of each and see what suits your needs better.
Absolutely, firstly when it comes to our bottle designs we use the worlds safest plastic which is called "Tritan Plastic". It does not leek any forms of plastics into your liquid source nor do our plastics contain any BPA & BPS plastics which are often very toxic. Every component of plastic we have is designed of this same quality of Tritan grade throughout.
For further re assurance, our filter cartridges are NSF certified. This means that in order to achieve this certificate our filters have to have gone through the most rigorous testing of removing water aesthetics (things like chlorine taste and poor odor from the water).
We would highly recommend the filters be replaced every 2 months, the reason why we say this is because you need to remember you are using a physical filter (straw) system so the filter element will be constantly damp to of course clean the water. The draw back is that the filter and activated carbon will loose efficiency the older the filter becomes.
For your piece of mind, we have setup a subscription based service on the filters so #1 you save a lot more money in the long run and #2 you do nit even need to remember to replace them, we just ship them to your doorstep and you do not need to lift a finger!

There are various methods, if you have a Shop account this will automatically be setup once you have placed your order, if you have not specifically paid for our Royal Mail Tracking service the Shop app will give you a general idea of your products movements.
If you have paid for the Royal Mail Tracking option upon checkout you will be kept up to date with much more detail of your products movements till it gets to your doorstep, Royal Mail will contact you either via text message or email to keep you updated.
